Named one of Elle Magazine’s Most Powerful Women, Denise Djokic is an internationally-renowned cellist known for her powerful interpretations, emotional musical style, and mastery of her instrument. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, and at the Grammy Awards, and on January 22, she will perform with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. Conducted by Arthur Post, the concert will feature her interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s poetic Variations on a Rococo Theme in an evening classical music lovers won’t soon forget. Show starts at 8 pm; tickets are $15-$45 and are available at the Community Auditorium box office.
