The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra will once again play the enchanting sounds of the Christmas season with its annual Holiday Pops concert, Saturday, December 12 at 7 pm.

This TBSO classic is a Thunder Bay seasonal regalement a must-see, as it is traditionally one of the most popular TBSO presentations of the year.

New conductor-in-residence Jean-Michel Malouf will lead the orchestra, joined by local talent including mezzo-soprano Melissa Davis, Joey Roy and young guitarist ensemble The Hemidemisemiquavers, actor Robert Perrier, and the Thunder Bay Symphony Chorus as they bring eloquence and enchantment to this enduring annual concert. Many holiday favourites, including “Joy to the World,” “O Holy Night,” the Polar Express Concert Suite by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, “Little Drummer Boy,” “The Christmas Song,” and more are sure to delight and enthrall the audience, bringing resounding musical joy of the season.
