Angela Park in Concert: Beethoven 200

Master-pianist Angela Park performs an all-Beethoven concert for us, on the occasion of the bicentenary of the death of this immortal composer. Highly-acclaimed as an artist, Angela is praised for her “stunningly beautiful pianism”. She has selected a piano sonata from each of Beethoven’s three compositional periods, early, middle, and late, Opus 2, No. 3, Opus 90, and Opus 101 in A Major of 1816 with its fantasy-like expressiveness. Angela will open with a charming early set of variations. It’s the second concert of Consortium’s 2027 Beethoven Mini-Festival, joining the whole world in celebration during his special anniversary year. This occasion marks Angela’s fourth appearance in our concert series.

There will be a ballot draw at intermission for a $75 gift card to Bight Restaurant and Bar.
