Pistol-George-1024x520

Pistol George Warren entertained an audience of all ages at the beautiful Marina Park on July 31 Their music was full of energy and it was soon apparent that they were having as much fun on stage as the crowd was on the dance floor.

Their sound had a bluesy-rock feel to it with beautiful harmony, excellent musicianship and totally engaging singers.  A soulful male vocalist (who is probably the life of any party) and two harmonious female back-up singers lured many to the dance floor, moving and grooving to the beat.

They began by engaging a drummer from the previous band, performing an impromptu number. This was a wonderful way to pull the audience in while demonstrating off their ability to be spontaneous.

Thunder Bay was this Sudbury band’s first show of their Western Canada three week tour. The band agreed that this was the biggest crowd they had ever played. What a great way to start a tour!

Kicking off their tour with the release of their 4th EP entitled Hoots Deuce, I’m sure this band will fin
d great success and have a lot of fun while they are at it!

Great Venue. Perfect Weather. Amazing Music. Crowd entertained.  That’s what summer is all about.
