For the last eight years, we’ve kicked off the new year with the results of our Best of Thunder Bay readers’ survey in which we invite our readers to have their say—it’s the democratic way. During October, readers submit nominations, the top five advance to the voting round, and in November, our readers vote for their favourites. The annual survey always gives pause for reflection on the past year. With a pandemic and scandalous presidential election south of the border, 2020 was like no other and has made us even more grateful to the hardworking members of our
