Environmental Film Festival Kicks-off on April 20
Thunder Bay’s 7th Environmental Film Festival kicks off on April 20 and runs through 24 at Maple Tops Activity Centre (24 South Court Street). The festival will screen 15 films over the 5 days and include guest speakers and youth film projects.
The opening ceremony and film is on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:00 PM with Vicki Lean’s After the Last River—a film that takes place in Attawapiskat and highlights the complicated relationship between First Nations and resource development on their traditional territories.
