“For fifteen years running now, there’s been a festival that has captured the hearts and minds of artists, free-spirits, and underdogs alike. A festival that was never actually intended to become a festival at all, originating as a ragtag family-and-friend pig roast that took on a mind of its own and snowballed into something widely beloved and inconceivably extravagant: Tumblestone Music & Art Festival. There, ever since 2011, hundreds of those-in-the-know congregate at an elusive location 20 minutes outside of town in Gorham for two days of art, performance and of course, non-stop music: some 30 odd bands of all genres grace the event’s two stages—some, local city-favourites and others, traveling in from out of the country.”
