West Thunder 10th Annual Corn Roast & Vendors Market is on August 30, 2026 from 11am to 3pm. This event brings neighbors and visitors together for a day of community spirit, great food, and entertainment at West Thunder Community Centre on 915 Edward Street South.
The event will take place rain or shine. In the event of rain, vendors will remain outside, while the entertainment, WTCC café, and the majority of children's activities will be moved indoors.

Stop by the WTCC Café to enjoy Belluz fresh corn graciously donated by Thunder Bay Metro Lions Club, hot fresh-cut fries, hamburgers, hotdogs, and popcorn!

Live entertainment will include country folk music by Jack Nelson, who will play throughout the event. Opening with Kaminari Wan Taiko. Followed by Kokoro Dojo Demonstration, THE Pipes and Drums of Thunder Bay and Odori Dancers

Enjoy a free bouncy castle courtesy of SUPERIOR Home Health Care, free face painting, a petting zoo, a hay scramble with prizes, and, new this year, scavenger hunt for the kids.

For a small fee, families can also enjoy twisted balloon creations, splatter paint under black lights with Bash Bays and pony rides.

The market features over 20 local vendors offering handmade crafts, sweet treats, woodworking, and more!

Be sure to enter to win fantastic prize baskets generously donated by the vendors and sponsors.

While enjoying the festivities, visitors are encouraged to stop by the program booth to learn all that the West Thunder Community Centre has to offer. Memberships for the upcoming 2026/2027 season will also be available for purchase or renewal.
