Join Dr. Rennie as he speaks on how aquatic ecosystems respond to stresses, such as climate change, based on research at The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) Experimental Lakes Area of Northwestern Ontario. IISD Experimental Lakes Area is the world's freshwater laboratory. Dr. Rennie is the Canada Research Chair in Freshwater Ecology and Fisheries and is Associate Professor at Lakehead University. Experimental Lakes area of Northwestern Ontario is the only place in the world where scientists can manipulate real lakes over the long term to understand what human activity does to fresh water.
