There is Room (Lindsey Herle, violin, and Elizabeth Clarke, piano) is a chamber ensemble that exists to make music and to make space. The name of our group is intentionally multi-faceted—we believe that there is room on the classical concert stage for all kinds of new, under-represented, and non-traditional music, and that there is room in our audience for people from all walks of life. Just like a host preparing to invite valued guests to their table, we carefully curate programs for our audiences that appeal to a variety of tastes. Our goal as an ensemble is to connect, welcome, and make sure each person knows, “this is for you.”
