Join us for some of the best paddling films of the year! The Paddling Film Festival returns to Thunder Bay, hosted by the Dragons of Hope.

The Paddling Film Festival has been showcasing the very best paddling films since 2006. Be inspired to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push extremes, appreciate wild places and fully embrace the paddling lifestyle. Join us at a World Tour theatre screening. Then, go paddling. We’re pretty sure you’ll want to.

Doors open 6:15 pm Showtime 7 pm.

Tickets $ 20 in advance (+fees) and $25 (cash) at the door.

The screening will be held at the Bora Laskin Building Auditorium at the Lakehead University Campus on Oliver Road. Parking is available.

We'll have door prizes and information about the local paddling scene. There will be snacks (cash only) and beverages for purchase.

Proceeds will help our team to represent Thunder Bay at the International Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Festival 24th to 30th August 2026 in Aix-les-Bains, France
