Left lane bandits, tailgaters, and the TBay turn…

Attention friends and family of reckless, distracted, irresponsible, white-knuckle drivers! Canada’s Worst Driver, the hit Discovery series hosted by Andrew Younghusband, is revving up for their 13th season and is on the hunt for the country’s absolute worst drivers.

Casting has begun and nominations are currently being accepted at canadasworstdriver.ca until March 30, 2017.

Producers from Canada’s Worst Driver will be visiting Thunder Bay to meet with potential candidates. Eight finalists will earn a coveted spot and will be flown this summer to the Driver Rehabilitation Centre in Ontario for the filming of an all-new season of Canada’s Worst Driver. Evaluated by a panel of driving experts, the contestants will undergo state-of-the-art training to overhaul their driving skills. As always, riding shotgun will be the friend, spouse, relative, sibling, co-worker, or neighbour who nominated the disastrous driver. Each and every nomination will be thoroughly considered!

Last season, Edmonton’s Krystal McCann shocked viewers with her negligent and inattentive driving habits, but ultimately earned the dubious title of Canada’s Worst Driver. To say McCann tested host Younghusband’s patience is an understatement, but in the end, she took ownership of her chaotic driving and vowed to change her ways. “Krystal McCann was one of the most challenging drivers we have ever experienced on Canada’s Worst Driver, but there’s great satisfaction in knowing that she left the show a much better driver than when she started,” says host Andrew Younghusband.

Canada’s Worst Driver aims to make Canadian highways and streets safer by taking the most abysmal drivers off the road for in-depth driver’s training. The goal is to release each motorist back onto Canadian roads as safer, better drivers. The upcoming season will feature classic driving challenges such as eye-of-the-needle, the water tank, and notable mega challenge, plus updated and innovative courses making for the most exciting season yet!
