February 18-22 will mark the 49th annual Duluth Boat, Sports, Travel & RV Show which is held in conjunction with the Northland Outdoors Duluth Deer Classic. The event is happening at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) in Duluth, Minnesota and will feature the largest selection of boats, RVs, motorcycles, camping equipment, resorts and campgrounds, along with hunting and fishing lodges located throughout the United States, Canada and more.
Also on hand will be the largest display ever of fishing gear, including the newest electronics, all supported by factory trained professional staff to answer any questions. This show represents the manufacturer’s enthusiasm at being able to showcase all the new models, innovations and equipment. The dealers of boats, pontoons, RVs, docks, lifts, and more will be offering their best deals, including many incentives and rebates available only at the show. The show is ideal if you are looking to buy outdoor equipment, plan a vacation in the outdoors, or looking for great entertainment at an affordable price.
The show also includes a variety of seminars lead by top pros in their fields and main stage entertainment in the arena featuring live music by American Young. This duo comprised of Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson released their debut, self-titled album in June 2014 and their unique style has gained them many fans from a variety of music genres and comparisons to the likes of The Civil Wars. Don’t miss them as they perform Wednesday and Thursday night, Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday afternoon.
You will want to be sure to go upstairs to the Lake Superior Ballroom where we will be featuring live Australian Wild Animals, including Kangaroos, Wallabies, Kookaburras, Emu and a variety of colourful Australian Birds. These amazing animals from “The Land Down Under” will captivate you. Throughout each day seminars will be presented telling about their habits and lifestyle and answering any questions you may have. You can also have your picture taken with a baby kangaroo!
Be sure to bring the kids to the Main Deli for free face painting by Cherri Merri Muffin, and balloon animals. Also don’t forget to stop by the trout tank and try your luck casting a line.
