Do or Dive is a new event taking place on November 9, in support of PRO Kids and the Thunder Bay Diving Club. The idea is that groups (employees, clubs, etc.) nominate their “boss” or a local celebrity and then raise funds for his/her “dive” into the pool at the Canada Games Complex. More money means a higher jump (or dive) from the diving boards and platforms—for example, raising $300 will require a jump from the 3m board, whereas raising $1000 will require a jump from the 10m platform. PRO Kids is looking for people to nominate their bosses or local celebrities, like your favourite politician. Please note that nominees must be willing to participate (they are jumping, not being pushed).
