Doors Open 2012 will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Central Information Site and Opening Ceremony: Finnish Labour Temple, 9:30 am Doors Open Thunder Bay aims to encourage residents and visitors alike to learn about and celebrate Thunder Bay’s rich heritage through tours of numerous sites-including private homes, commercial buildings, places of worship, and other heritage sites that are not normally open to the public. The 13 participating sites include:

1.Thunder Bay Centre of Change/Hillcrest High School 2.Finlandia Association-Finnish Labour Temple 3.James Whalen Tug 4.Bishop’s Residence 5.Brodie Resource Library 6.TBT Engineering-Paterson Building 7.Windrose 8.St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church 9.Lakehead University-Port Arthur Collegiate Institute (PACI) 10.Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel and Suites 11.Thunder Bay Museum 12.Superior North EMS Headquarters 13.Neebing-McIntyre Floodway Trail
