Their award-winning Voices of the Grain Trade project collected the stories and recollections of over 200 people who worked in the grain handling and shipping industry at the Lakehead.

Fort William First Nation’s Steve Collins, is lo Fort William First Nation’s Steve Collins, is looking to revive ski jumping in Thunder Bay, starting with a “small” jump (10 to 15 metres from take-off to landing) at Mt. Baldy. A three-time Olympian who spent a decade on the World Cup circuit, Collins says it wouldn’t have happened if he hadn't been exposed to the sport.
