It all began in 1973, when a group of women came together to share their love of singing. In 1974 they became a charter member of Sweet Adeline International; their motto is ‘harmonize the world’. Over the years the chorus has attended many Regional Competitions and for years now have placed in the top 5. The chorus performs four part harmony, barbershop style in various venues throughout the community as well as support fundraising events for Harmony for the Hungry, Breast Cancer Research, the Food Band and Shelter House.
Their 40th Anniversary show features the chorus, quartets and groups, history of the chorus including a show of costumes worn over the years. They welcome all Alumni to come and join them on the risers for “Harmonize the World”.
