Sexy Fifth Element. Sexy Zelda. Sexy Planet of the Apes and sexy Star Wars?! All of this and more were on stage at Crocks on April 8 and it was…for lack of a better word…amazing! SuicideGirls’ Blackheart Burlesque strutted their way through Thunder Bay and stopped just long enough to blow a few minds with their awesome pop culture-related sexy burlesque performance currently touring Canada.
Besides the show itself being a combination of dance talent and good ol’ raw sexual energy, the humour, raining whiskey, flying birthday cake and live social media interaction made for a chin-dragging and eye-popping evening…to say the least. Seeing the dance floor at Crocks packed on a Tuesday night was proof of this show’s allure and quality. For those that didn’t make it, at least you are stable with four equal sides!
SuicideGirls celebrates alternative beauty and indie culture and invites selected women to join their “sorority of badass bombshells and geek goddesses.” Their webpage is a showcase of millions of women from all over the world who fall outside the lines of conventional beauty.
