The Maltese Guinea Pig is a short film about love, betrayal, and adventure—in grade four. Self-proclaimed sleuth, Samuel Stapleton, is just days from summer vacation, but when the class pet goes missing, he has less than 48 hours to figure out who has taken the guinea pig and return it to its cozy cage.
The Maltese Guinea Pig will be produced and filmed in Thunder Bay and will feature over a dozen aspiring young actors. The filmmaker, Luke Grandmont of BigMountain Productions, is currently seeking community support to produce the film via their online fundraiser on Indiegogo. There are cool perks for donating, including copies of the film, t-shirts, and opportunities to visit the set.
