Children, parents and teddy bears are invited to the Teddy Bears Picnic at Vickers Park on Tuesday, July 9 for an afternoon of free crafts, activities and live entertainment by Rodney Brown and The Grumpy Grandpas. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the picnic which was voted by The Walleye’s readers as the best kids’ event.
This year’s picnic begins at noon and runs until 3 pm. Highlights of the day include the Teddy Bear Parade, and the Boo Bear Station which will be open to patch up and mend your much-loved teddy bears. Admission is free.
