February doldrums will be swept away when the cast of The Second City comedy troupe swoops into our fair city to light up a few hilarious evenings at the Victoria Inn. Plan on a great night out of laughter with friends or treat your valentine to a fun evening guaranteed to put a smile on your sweetheart’s face.

Any night with The Second City promises a barrelful of belly laughs. Thursday, February 11 features The Second City Improv All-Stars, when show-goers will be tickled with an evening of unscripted fun that invites the audience to direct the action. No topic is off-limits as the actors throw away their scripts and dive into free-wheeling hilarity. February 12 and February 13 will feature themes in anticipation of Valentine’s Day, happily mocking the dating world and lightheartedly delving into the many crazy things we all do in the name of love.

Established over 50 years ago, The Second City has produced such comedic legends as Tina Fey, John Candy, and Dan Ackroyd. The troupe is well known for nutty antics, reflecting everyday life skewed through the wacky lens of improv. Improv is about saying “yes” to whatever comes next, however off the wall it may be. So grab your lady or your fella, a bunch of gal-pals or buddies, and plan on a giddy evening of rib-tickling fun supplied by the antics of the talented troupe of The Second City.

Tickets for The Second City shows can be purchased either as a combo for dinner and show at $79 per person or $45 per person for the show only. Details for the dinner menu can be found at keynoteevents.ca. Tickets can be purchased at the site as well.
