February 15-19, 2017 marks the 51st Anniversary of the DULUTH BOAT, SPORTS, TRAVEL & RV SHOW at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).  As always, the show will be held in conjunction with the NORTHLAND OUTDOORS DULUTH DEER CLASSIC which takes place just an escalator ride away in the Lake Superior Ballroom of the DECC.  One ticket gains you admission to both shows—you can see virtually every make of boat and RV in the same place plus camping equipment, resorts and campgrounds, as well as fishing and hunting lodges from the United States, Canada, and more under one roof.

Mountain Faith on America’s Got Talent

In addition to the vast array of vendors, the show features a variety of free hunting and fishing seminars conducted experts in their field.  The main stage entertainment in the arena will be MOUNTAIN FAITH—runners up on Americas Got Talent where they wowed the judges and audience alike with their unique and enjoyable music.  They will perform at 9PM Wednesday through Saturday and also at 4PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In the Lake Superior Ballroom, there will be able to see an amazing display of endangered species animals.  You won’t want to miss seeing

Sloth Bear

and hearing about these fascinating creatures. The animals will be available for viewing throughout the show. Also, be sure to visit the Pheasants Forever Youth Village Display where you will have the opportunity to test your shooting skills at the Laser Shot or Safe Archery Zone as well as the Indoor Sling Shot center while learning valuable information on firearms safety.

For decades, the Live Trout Tank has given kids a chance to cast a line and reel in a “Big One” and this year will be no exception.  Then make your way over to the Leinie Lodge Deli in Fitzgerald Hall where you can catch a bite to eat and where Cheri Merri Muffin will be offering free face painting and animal balloons for the kids.
