Last Friday, 13 finalists that auditioned for Thunder Bay’s Got Talent in March gathered to compete for the top three spots and share in $5,000 in cash prizes.

The finalists included bands, solo artists, musicians, dancers and even a magician. “When I started this journey of seeking out what kinds of talent would apply for the live auditions, I had no idea just how many fantastic performers there would be. It’s been a privilege to showcase talent not only from Thunder Bay, but from around Northwestern Ontario,” says Sharla Brown, event organizer and director of Keynote Events.

In addition to the 13 performers, the evening also included performances from our five guest judges—Daylin James, Shelley Jacobson, Shy-Anne Hovorka, Chris Holland and Sean Gormely. Here are the results:

3rd Prize – Andrea Pilon, Thunder Bay (sang “Note to God”) $500

2nd Place – Capri Anderson, Thunder Bay (sang a mixed melody of songs with dance) $1500

1st Place – Mad Flow, Dryden (performed “Great Ball of Fire”) $3000
