The Married Singlemen perform at Kilroys during The Hunger V.5

True to their word, Definitely Superior Art Gallery hosted a spectacular Halloween party in downtown Port Arthur on October 30th. The party officially started at 8:00 p.m., although partygoers were slow to infiltrate the four venues – Kilroy’s, Jack’s, Crocks/The Office and Black Pirates Pub. By 10:30 p.m., there were line-ups all-around. Highlights of the night include the Married Singlemen, dressed as the main characters from The Wizard of Oz,  playing to a packed dance-floor at Kilroy’s, and Fluorescent Brown, dressed as wild animals, playing to a capacity crowd at Jack’s. Each venue hosted raffle draws and a costume contest where only the expert judges could distinguish between the homemade masterpieces and eBay purchases. A word of advice: if you want to win a costume contest at the Hunger Cabaret V.6, tap into your creative genius. After all, the event is a fundraiser for DefSup and they recognize art when they see it.
