The Thunder Bay Quilter’s Guild is presenting an exhibition of antique, traditional and contemporary quilts from April 26-28. The exhibition, which takes place in the CLE Coliseum Building, is the region’s largest display of fabric art and features bed quilts, wall hangings, and art quilts. In addition, there is a vendor village, quilting demonstrations and a cafe, operated by Sunflower Cottage Catering.

The exhibition runs from noon-9pm on Friday, 9am-4pm on Saturday and noon-3pm on Sunday; admission is $5/day or $10 for the weekend. This is a great opportunity to admire the artistic talents of the Thunder Bay Quilters’ Guild members, meet fellow quilters and fabric art aficionados, shop for quilting fabrics and supplies, and learn a new skill.
