In anticipation of their Canadian Tour and forthcoming album, Raleigh has released a new video for “Carebear.” The Calgary Folk Fest characterizes the trio by their “gentle harmonies, subtle time signature changes, and superb arrangements” that meshes “intricate rhythms with cello, piano and guitar.”

Raleigh’s debut LP New Times in Black and White was recognized by the Calgary Herald as one of the top five local releases of 2011 and took the band on two cross-Canada tours. Since forming in 2010, other highlight performances include opening slots for Dan Mangan, the Books, and Cold Specks. Raleigh spent the better part of September and October 2012 recording Sun Grenades & Grenadine Skies, their second LP, at Hotel2Tango with Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Basia Bulat) and Greg Smith. The new album’s release date has yet to be announced.
