Fighting Walleye Ice Fishing Derby presented by Tbaytel

The Kam River Fighting Walleye junior A hockey team are hosting an Ice Fishing Derby throughout the entire month of February via the FishDonkey App. A percentage of the derby’s proceeds will also be going towards Our Kids Count.

Where: Fisheries Management Zone: 4, 5, 6, 7, 9- NWO region: (includes areas around Thunder Bay, Kenora, Atikokan, Dryden, Fort Frances, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Nipigon, Geraldton, Schreiber, Terrace Bay, Manitouwadge, Marathon, Wawa) 

Registration: Opens January 21st

Early Bird- January 21st-Feb 4th: $50

Regular Fee– February 5-28th: $75

Prizes: prize amount will be correlated with the number of participants

1ST PLACE: $1500 (minimum) CASH (largest walleye- length)

2ND PLACE: CASH TBD (second largest walleye- length)

3RD PLACE: CASH  (third largest walleye- length)

RANDOM PARTICIPANT: CASH

MYSTERY LENGTH: CASH
