Family Day with the Giant!

The staff of Sleeping Giant Provincial Park are pleased to announce that we will be hosting Family Day with the Giant in the Marie Louise Lake Campground on Monday, February 20th! Our entire 70km ski trail network will be groomed to perfection, the Visitor Centre will be open from 8:30am to 4:00pm, our 300-metre skating oval will be in pristine condition, and there will be a bonfire adjacent to the skating oval at campsites 85-96. Parking will be available within the campground all day until the main gate is locked at 4:30pm. Come scout skiing trails prior to the 44th annual Sleeping Giant Loppet, be amongst the first to test out northern Ontario’s newest skating trail, try your luck ice fishing on Marie Louise Lake, snowshoe into the backcountry of our remarkable park, or simply enjoy access to our cozy, state-of-the-art Visitor Centre!
