CONSORTIUM AURORA BOREALIS CONCERT JANUARY 11, 2020
Consortium Aurora Borealis presents Thunder Bay’s own Tamarack Wind Quintet In Concert.
This fine ensemble of musicians from the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra will enchant with
an intriguing programme of music in a variety of moods by Reicha, Müller, Cambini, Ibert,
Shostakovich and others, and includes the iconic Waltz from the movie Anna Karenina.
Performing works from the Classic and Romantic periods and onwards are Doris Dungan,
flute; E-Chen Hsu, clarinet; Gwen Buttemer, oboe; Iraj Tamadon-Nejad, bassoon, and Damian
Rivers-Moore, horn. Come for a breath of fresh air!
Saturday, January 11, 2020, 8:00 p.m., at St. Paul’s United Church, 349 Waverley Street, Thunder Bay, with an informative pre-concert talk by Damian Rivers-Moore at 7:30 p.m.
The church is handicapped-accessible (elevator).
