Consortium Aurora Borealis presents a concert by award-winning Angela Park, one of Canada’s most sought-after pianists, returning to perform an exquisite solo programme of music by Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, the Classical era’s three ‘greats’. She has been praised for her “stunningly-beautiful pianism”, “kaleidoscopic colour”, and “brilliant clarity”. Angela “belongs in the top echelon of today’s pianists”. Mozart’s well-loved Fantasia, a magical Schubert piano sonata, and Beethoven’s heroic “Waldstein” Sonata will enthrall you! Our guest soloist has appeared as soloist and chamber musician throughout the world, and we are very honoured to have her perform for us.
