CONSORTIUM AURORA BOREALIS CONCERT NOVEMBER 30, 2019
Consortium Aurora Borealis presents “Magic and Fire: The Italian Violin”, starring virtuoso violinist Jeremy Bell, who will shine brilliantly in solos and trios of the Italian Baroque. The concert honours the five most prominent Italian virtuoso violinist-composers of all time: Geminiani, Tartini, Locatelli, Vivaldi, and Veracini. A selection of delightful 17th-century works will also be heard. A highlight will be Bell’s performance of Tartini’s challenging “Devil’s Trill” Sonata. He is joined by violinist Katie Stevens, cellist Peter Cosbey, and harpsichordist Elizabeth Ganiatsos.
“Jeremy Bell always dazzles and mesmerizes!” Come to witness the action!
