Conservation of Architectural Heritage (CAH)

May 23

$300

Architecture is the magic stick that has shaped past societies. History and its archeological sites have always been a passion to many of us. This passion drives one to read, learn, explore and discover more. The more one knows about the glory of the world’s old civilizations, the more appreciation, and pride one feels. Unfortunately, our beloved archaeological sites are no more the same as they used to be. They are exposed to losing their glory bit by bit due to many erosion factors.

It was studied that the most common cause of archaeological site damage is actually the weather. Wind, freeze-thaw cycles, and rainfall are all examples of common causes of erosion. In addition to natural disasters like storms, volcanic eruptions, wildfires, and earthquakes can completely devastate a site.
