I first ventured into the world of growing food at the beginning of the pandemic.
At a time where toilet paper was disappearing from the shelves, I was busy buying seeds to plant a garden. I dedicated my time to learning how to grow foods using different growing techniques, such as ultra-low-cost Korean natural farming.
One of my goals was to grow food that I could preserve and store into the winter. By adding a second garden, I doubled my harvest and was able to stock my pantry. But, in the search for self-sustainable growth, I got much more than I bargained for as the more time I spent in the garden, the more peace and well-being I felt within.
